HIP PAIN & REPLACEMENT

PREPARATION & RECOVERY

Hip pain comes from different causes. sport excess, prosthesis, various inflammations. AIS can help you with all these cases.

A hip replacement involves a partial replacement of the ball, socket or total hip. The hip may also be replaced because of severe osteoarthritis or accident problems. It is a surgical procedure to replace the non functional bodies by a prosthetic implant. A partial hip replacement is called « hip hemiarthroplasty » and generally replaces only the femoral head of the femur. A total hip replacement is called « total hip arthroplasty » and consists of replacing both the acetabulum and the femoral head of the femur.

Active Isolated Stretching can improve drastically a hip replacement. Taking care of it BEFORE the surgery and immediately after will help you recover faster and avoid problems like dislocation, inflammation or pain.
