
Plantar fasciitis features pain in the plantar fascia and all the muscles in the sole of the foot. A tight gastrocnemius (calf) is accompagnied by fallen arches, weak feet and ankles.
Stretch the calves, achilles, foot muscles and fascia. Strengthen the feet and ankles, incorporating the specific towel exercises, stocking exercises and using the Mattes Ankle Exerciser to develop the ankle and arch muscles.
